New Year’s Eve Fellowship

Don’t miss the Annual New Year’s Fellowship, Wednesday, December 31st at 6:00 p.m.  Plan to bring a main dish and a side or a dessert to share.  Following supper, we’ll have K4T for the kids and a time of songs and testimony for the In Pursuit Teens and adults.  Invite your family and friends for a great evening of fellowship!

Spring Choir

Your voice is needed as we get ready for Spring Choir!  We’ll be preparing a cantata for Easter, hymns for special music presentations, and organizing some ensembles.  Sign up at the bulletin board and indicate what part you sing.  Remember, you must be a member of LSBC to be a choir member and you must be willing to commit to the practice schedules.  Contact Jim King with questions. 

2009 Activity Planning

Be a planner in 2009!  We need your help and creativity to help plan activities in 2009.  Get together with a friend or two and stop by the bulletin board to choose the activity or activities you would like to plan!

Senior Luncheon

Seniors, join us for the next Senior Luncheon on Tuesday, January 20th.  Lunch will be served at 12:30, but plan to come early to visit.  Sign up at the bulletin board and contact Judy North with any questions. 

Welcome Home Crossleys!

Aaron, Jessica, & Corban Crossley are home from Panama and looking forward to what God has next for them!  Join us Sunday evening, January 4th as the Crossleys report on their year in Panama.  We’ll be receiving a love offering for them, so please pray concerning your part. 

Directory Supplement

A directory supplement will be published in January, so if you would like to be included in the directory or need to correct information in the directory, now is your chance!  Pick up a form at the Welcome Center, fill it out completely, and drop it in the offering plate or in Jim King’s mailbox in the church office.

Friendship Sunday

Plan now to be a part of the next Friendship Sunday on January 25th!  This is a great opportunity to get to know new people or strengthen existing relationships.  Simply invite someone you don’t know or don’t know well to Sunday dinner at your home, or take them out to dinner.  It’s that easy!  Make your plans now!

 Men’s Bible Study

Men, join us for a new study on Prayer beginning Tuesday, January 13th at 7:00 p.m.  We’ll be looking at God’s Word to fully understand His call to prayer, the purpose of prayer, the power of prayer, and why He calls His people to prayer.  In addition, we’ll spend some valuable time in prayer for one another, our church, and our nation.  Sign up if you plan to attend and be a part of this study
